The Camera Remote supports a wide range of GoPro models including the Hero 4, 5, 6, 7, Hero Session, and Hero 5 Session cameras. Users can easily connect to their camera's Wifi network without any hassle.
One notable feature is the exposure series tool which allows users to capture exposure series for HDR photography. By defining various settings such as night/day mode, exposure compensation, shutter time, ISO limits, and white balance for each image, users can effortlessly create stunning HDR shots.
In addition, the scripting tool enables users to create personalized scripts using a simple drag and drop interface - no coding required. This feature empowers users to customize their camera settings precisely to their preferences.
Users can also conveniently change camera settings such as resolution, protune, frame rate, shutter time, exposure compensation, white balance, GPS settings, volume control, audio configuration, and microphone adjustments.
With live video and audio preview capabilities, users can monitor their shots in real-time for greater control and confidence.
Downloading media including photos, videos, and RAW files over Wifi is made easy with this app. Furthermore, it facilitates the management of multiple cameras - an important feature to streamline workflow for professional users. However, it should be noted that controlling multiple cameras at the same time is not possible as each GoPro creates its own Wifi network.
Please note that this app is intended exclusively for controlling 3rd party hardware GoPro Hero cameras. The app offers a free version that showcases its features while the full version can be activated through a one-time in-app purchase which grants access to all features.
